Vince & Friends

Vincent has been spending a lot of time making new friends in our house. Some completely random friends. Friends that he likes to carry around.

Who else could be more snuggly than Optimus Prime (just "Prime" to Vince)? I guess he is a pretty good friend though. Vince sure liked him, and he fit very nicely in the shirt pocket so he could be sure to go where ever Vince went.

Next up, Prime got dumped for a very special fruit. Vince doesn't like to eat oranges, but he sure liked to carry this one around.

What you can't see is the small bite taken out of one side where Vince wanted to try a taste. Guess he didn't learn his lesson from Yo Gabba Gabba (Vince's favorite show): Don't, don't, don't bite your friends!

It is fun to throw them down the slide, though!!

Weeeeeeeee!!

Oranges don't last forever (and Vince's is now in the compost pile) so this morning Vince found a knight to be his new friend. He is also small like Prime and easy to carry.

Hmmm, maybe I should get the boy out of the house more...

Hey, long time, no blogging! But, seeing as the baby is now 5 months old, maybe I can try this blogging again.

Or it may end up being another 6 months before I get here again (as I type this one-handed while holding sleepy baby with the other hand). We'll see. Hey, at least I got the header corrected to include poor Vin...Max!

Halloween 2009

I have been told that I am not updating this blog nearly enough (What? Once every 6 months is not enough??) so I thought I might add the Halloween pictures here. We had a great time this year. The kids got to decorate pumpkins (a few times since I kept leaving them out in the rain), dress up, eat candy, and stay up late to watch a movie. They loved every minute of it!!

I'll have to add more tomorrow or another time when I'm not so exhausted. Enjoy the pictures!

We are pregnant with number 4! Due date is Christmas Day! Evie is hoping for a girl, Alex wants a boy.

The kids got new raincoats from Grandma and just had to show them off. Plus, Great-Grandma sent new outfits, and we couldn't resist taking pictures of those. Enjoy!

New pictures: Snow, Birthday and Fun

Been a while since I put new pictures on here, which means I had a lot to pick from! The beginning of January brought a lot of snow, which the kids had a great time playing in. A few of the days, I think they only went out so I could be coerced to make hot chocolate when they came in ("Buy Mmmooooooooooommmmmmmmmm, we're sooooooooooooo cold!"). End of January was birthday time. Evie turned 4 and Vince turned 1. I'll try and put his cake video later. Evie got to go to her first sleepover with Aunt Alicia, Mommy and two other friends in early February. We stayed up late, ate chocolate, and played princess games. Fun! Last but not least, Steve and I took the kids to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. We've bought a year membership so expect to see more pictures from there!

Birthdays & Other Happenings

OK, I finally have posted something. I should be posting Christmas picture since I took a ton. Instead, you are stuck with birthday pictures! My birthday was at the beginning of the month. I'm am no longer a 20-something! Evie turned 4 yesterday. Vince turns 1 tomorrow. More pictures to come once we celebrate Vince's birthday. I also added some extra random pictures I've taken. Enjoy!
